The Martinez MBM-2-NGL Banjo Mandolin is the ideal instrument to add some colour to existing tunes, or an excellent instrument for the player looking to expand on their sound. This instrument, traditionally used in folk accompaniments has come back into fashion, and is now being regularly used by many contemporary recording artists.

The OAKRIDGE is a standard model Banjo Mandolin made primarily from Walnut and Rosewood. The overall appearance of this instrument is 1st class, with great attention to the fitting of hardware, through to the overall finish ...quality all the way - one would think it was made in the good 'ol U.S. of A.

The Boston has quite a history behind it. When we started out to build Deering Banjos the very first banjo we made was called the Intermediate and the heart, or basic guts of that banjo is a relatively new concept and that is that the pot is made out of steel. The steel has good weight and a very good ring for a banjo that is made in a little bit of a lower price range.

The Classic Goodtime banjo is a three ply violin grade maple rim banjo that has a bright and clear tone. The Classic has a traditional look with the Deering Peg Head Shape, a Rich Brown stain, and spikes at the 7th, 9th, and 10th frets of the 5th String. The spikes enable you to expand your playing from the key of G and play in the keys of A, B and C by putting the fifth string under the spike and using a capo on the other four strings to adjust the tuning.

The vintage look and vibrant tone of the patent pending Special tone ring set this banjo apart, The Classic Goodtime Special has the look of an older banjo with the rich brown stain, Deering fiddle shaped peghead and planetary banjo tuners. The Classic Special can be heard with a sweet voice amongst all the instruments in a band. Tuned in a G Chord, with the spikes already installed, you can easily play in the keys of A, B or C.
